The Kia Telluride is already one of the most compelling options for families who want space, style, and value in one package. For 2027, Kia is rolling out a fully redesigned, second-generation Telluride that builds on that reputation with more room, more powertrain choices, and a big step forward in technology and refinement. It's still the rugged, boxy three-row SUV people love—just smarter, more efficient, and more capable than before.
Bigger, Bolder, and Now Available as a Hybrid
The 2027 Telluride grows in overall length and wheelbase, resulting in more legroom in the second and third rows, easier access to the rearmost seats, and more cargo space behind the third row. Inside, the cabin leans even more into a near-luxury feel, upgraded materials, and available amenities like relaxation front seats, a driver massage function, and power second-row captain's chairs with heating and ventilation.
Under the hood, every 2027 Telluride now features turbocharged power. The standard 2.5-liter turbo-four engine generates 274 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, while an 8-speed automatic transmission optimizes responsiveness and efficiency. Plus, for the first time, a turbo-hybrid powertrain joins the roster, combining the 2.5-liter turbo with an electric motor and 1.65-kWh battery to deliver 329 horsepower, 339 pound-feet of torque, and an estimated 600 miles of total driving range.
Outdoor enthusiasts in from Levittown to South Brunswick Township will appreciate the upgraded X-Pro trim, which now offers wider all-terrain tires, an advanced Electronic Limited Slip Differential, a new multi-terrain AWD mode, a Ground View Monitor, and 9.1 inches of ground clearance.
Tech and Safety
Inside, the 2027 Telluride steps up its tech game with dual digital screens with customizable display themes, standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, available dual wireless phone chargers, and available built-in streaming for apps like YouTube and Netflix. The all-new Telluride also features a more rigid body structure, ten airbags, and an expanded roster of cutting-edge driver-assist technologies.
